Feel free to open another topic if you need more help.January 4, 2019 at 3:18 am in reply to: Do I need to have https in order for the google api to work? #461406You restrict the key to your website, or you don’t restrict it at all.
Changing keys or going secure will not help when the key is not authorized correctly for your site, unless you turn off all restrictions for the key. Thanks
January 3, 2019 at 11:46 pm in reply to: Do I need to have https in order for the google api to work? #461394This is the error:
Google Maps JavaScript API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-errorPlease review this again, see point 11 on the page:

This reply has been marked as private.Your conversion has not worked.
Most likely because you copied tables from one database to another instead of running the conversion step by step as per https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#convertIf you have one site that is now working, and you need a copy of that sandbox site somehow, then I suggest to use https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/ or cloning the site as per https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress
I am not sure what you are trying to achieve with having two copies of the same test site …
If the sandbox site is working and the database it uses is an exact copy of the live database apart from the V1-V2 conversion, then one of the options is to
* connect to the new database in the config file of the live site instead of the current live database
* delete all GD plugins from the live site using FTP and copying all V2 GD plugin files from the sandbox setup to the live site using FTP.Thanks
OK, let us know which one of your staging site we can test this. Thanks

January 2, 2019 at 9:59 am in reply to: Do I need to have https in order for the google api to work? #461096HTTPS is not required, but is recommended because not everything will work optimally.
See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/adding-a-ssl-certificate-to-your-website/The error you have is most likely due to not having activated the correct APIs.
If you post your URL (and WP admin details) we can give more details [you can use the private reply option].
See towards the end of this page: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/Thanks
Near me is already available, see image.
There is no time set for re-introduction of automatic geolocation and redirection for the moment. Thanks
Did you merge as explained in point 3 here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-custom-fields/#merge ?
Thanks
I am guessing you did not renew a current membership but bought a new membership.
In that case, you will have been given all new licenses.
Existing licenses only stay valid if a current membership is renewed.
If there’s no room for a license to be added, then you most likely are using very old versions of some plugins.Have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/ to check if licenses have changed, and current versions of the plugins.
To replace older plugins, check out https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#easy
Let us know how you went. Thanks
