Go to GD > Settings > Pages > Archive page > Edit page > and remove this shortcode
[gd_search]Thanks
Without seeing the URL so we can inspect the code, there is nothing we can do.
Thanks1. See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#cacheplugins
The new GD version is compatible with more caching plugins.
If you are starting a new site, starting with V2 will prevent you having to convert in the future: https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/2. Events can be added with the Events addon: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/events/
3. I do not completely understand this. Maybe if you post your URL then we can check that out.
You can post that in a private reply if you like. Thanks
You cannot just replace the V1 plugins with V2 plugins, you need to convert your database.
See here for how to convert:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#convertIn your case it may be easier to delete the whole database and reinstall everything since you have no listings etc yet.
Thanks
You’re welcome 🙂
From both of us 🙂I understood what you mean.
The category filter is only available for the GD Home/Location maps. Thanks
There should be no checkbox when setting up the package, you need to make sure it is not excluded at “Exclude Fields” in the package.
See the image for how to exclude Featured from a package, that is from a your non-featured package with ID 2.Makes sense?
Can we have the URL too please 🙂
Categories will only show if they have at least one listing in them.
ThanksThis reply has been marked as private.I am not familiar with that plugin, but this plugin may work: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#logic
Thanks
That sounds like you have locations without any listings. The Popular Locations widget lists locations alphabetically, not really by locations with most listings.
Thanks
I alerted Stiofan who looks after the accounts.
Listings pages are already filtered by the category, so there is little point to filter again.
The category filter is only available for the GD Home/Location maps. Thanks
Locations are in this format: Country > Region > City
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/definitions/#location
For example: https://wpgeo.directory/docs/location/italy/lombardy/milan/Within each location, you have Custom Post Type > Category
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/places-categories-and-listings/
For example all hotels in Oxfordshire: https://wpgeo.directory/docs/places/united-kingdom/oxfordshire/hotels/I suggest you add these shortcodes to a page to get a list of some of your GD pages:
[gd_location_tab_switcher] [gd_advanced_search] [gd_login_box] [gd_cpt_categories] [gd_location_switcher]Thanks
