There should be no checkbox when setting up the package, you need to make sure it is not excluded at “Exclude Fields” in the package.
See the image for how to exclude Featured from a package, that is from a your non-featured package with ID 2.

Categories will only show if they have at least one listing in them.

Locations are in this format: Country > Region > City

Within each location, you have Custom Post Type > Category

For example all hotels in Oxfordshire: https://wpgeo.directory/docs/places/united-kingdom/oxfordshire/hotels/
