Hello,
the developers will provide an update as soon as possible.
GDV2 is available now
OK, we can check on that for you if you share FTP and WP Admin credentials in a private reply.
Make sure you have translated all the addons and the theme. It may be that the string you are after is not in core but instead in an addon or the theme.
This page will explain which templates there are:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/page-design/
you will need to edit the archive item and or detail page templates, to edit the options in the gd_post_images shortcode to remove the option to show the title.
The page and template settings are covered here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/general/#pages
1- I don’t want to show all the email addresses from all places in the site, how to have a contact form as before instead of calling spammers from all over the world to come to my site to steal emails?
I don’t see where to use a contact form instead of exposing the email address.
Please follow the doc here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/ninja-forms/
If you don’t want to show the email address, then de-select all locations from the “Show in extra output locations” for the email field.
2- Claim is not showing up. (I already added it)
Please follow the doc here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/claim/
This is a duplicate of what you posted here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/listings-design-and-options/
Why show the image name under the images in a grey box and all the dots?
GDV1 did not support title and caption, gdv2 does. You can show it or hide it based on element options.
The slider has an option to show titles, so, you can turn that off:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/images/#slider-show-title
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/images/#metaGDV2 works with templates and design elements. As explained in the pages above, you will need to edit the archive item and or detail page templates, to edit the options in the gd_post_images shortcode to remove the option to show the title.
The way that GDV2 works is explained in the docs. Pages and Page tempalates are explained here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/page-design/On that page you can read about each of the GDV2 templates.
On this page you can read about options for changing the templates by adding and altering design elements
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/personalize/
You can read about all the design elements here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/
Adjust the values in the custom fields as shown here (in 2 places in the docs)
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/custom/#show
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/personalize/#showThe rest of the docs start here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/GDV2 uses elements
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/personalize/You can add the search bar with a widget or shortcode or block.
You might want to add it as a widget, the GD > Search widget.Add that to your sidebar, and open the advance options to set it to Open.
It will only display search options you have configured in the custom fields and advanced search tabs for Places
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/search/Please add the GD > Output locations widget to the sidebar.
Set the widget to display the “Detail Page sidebar”
Then any fields set for the sidebar will display there.GD > Output location, set to Detail Page Sidebar

This reply has been marked as private.Support for Free Users (non members) is provided for website where only the core plugin is installed and used. If addons are installed and used (even only one addon), the user will have to subscribe again before being able to receive support.
