I’ve keeping an eye on the development of GeoMarketplaceV2 and have been taking a wait-and-see approach.
Ideally, the project I have in mind is a News Portal + Directory Listing + Marketplace. Of course, all 3 don’t have to be launched all at once. I already have WCMp and Newspaper.
Do you have any suggestion how to structure such a site? would it make the most sense to have – for example the Directory Listing and Marketplace in its separate subdomain – and the main domain be the news portal?

It all depends how many listings, users/vendors, products and traffic the site will host. If many, yes it’s better to use MultiSite and 1 site for each major section of the site.
That is what we did too with wpgeodirectory.com, wpgeodirectory.com/support, wpgeodirectory.com/docs, wpgeodirectory.com/translate, eachis a site of a MultiSite network.
HI I love this theme , I went out a bought after I saw this demo.
But I just can’t get GD and Newspaper to play nice .
How did you get you GD pages to look like newspapers theme ?
Like on the directory page and then the single list page , well really all the GD pages look just like the Newspapers theme. I have tried for days to do that ..Any help would be great thanks
