How you add pagination depends on which element shows the listings: GD > Listings on a normal page, or GD > Loop on category, search and post type pages.
GD > Listings on any page
GD > Listings has its own pagination. In the element’s settings, turn on the Show pagination option and set Posts to show to the number of listings you want on each page. With shortcodes, add with_pagination="1":
[gd_listings post_type="gd_place" post_limit="10" with_pagination="1"]
Once pagination is on, you can also choose to show it at the top of the list (top_pagination="1"), at the bottom (on by default) or both, and add a line such as “Showing listings 1-10 of 52” with the advance pagination info option. Pagination is switched off when GD > Listings is shown as a carousel.
Category, search and post type pages
These pages are built from the Archive page template with GD > Loop and GD > Loop Paging. GD > Loop Paging only pages through GD > Loop, so adding [gd_loop_paging] under [gd_listings] on a normal page does nothing. Use the GD > Listings options above there.
To show the page numbers above the results as well as below them, edit the Archive page (GeoDirectory > Settings > General > Pages) and add a second GD > Loop Paging above GD > Loop. Its Show Advanced pagination option adds the “Showing listings x-y of z” line. See GD > Loop Paging, and Changing the number of listings shown on Archive and Search pages to change how many appear on each page.
