The red New badge marks listings published in the last 30 days. It is a badge in your Archive item template, the template GeoDirectory uses for each listing card on category, search and listing pages, so removing it there removes it everywhere.
- Go to GeoDirectory > Settings > General > Pages and edit the Archive item page.
- If the page uses the GD > Simple Archive Item block (the default on block editor sites), select it, open Image Badge (top right) and set Top Right Badge to None.
- If the page uses shortcodes, delete the line that starts
[gd_post_badge key='post_date'and containsbadge='New'. - Update the page.
Changing how long a listing counts as new
If you want to keep the badge but show it for a different period, change the number in the badge’s search value. In search='+30' the 30 is the number of days after the publish date that the badge shows.
Hiding it on some pages only
GD > Listings and GD > Loop can each use their own archive item template. Create a second archive item page without the badge, then select it in the Archive Item Template Type and Archive Item Template Page options of the element on the pages where you do not want the badge. See GD > Post Badge for the other badge options.
