Every GeoDirectory listing uses one template page, the Details Page. You rearrange all listings by moving blocks around on that page, and you control the tabs from the post type’s tab settings. No PHP or remove_action code is needed in GeoDirectory v2.
Edit the template
- Go to GeoDirectory > Settings > General > Pages and open the page set as Details Page.
- By default it holds GD > Notifications, GD > Post Images (a slider), GD > Single Taxonomies, GD > Single Tabs and GD > Single Next Prev.
- Move, remove or add blocks, then update the page.
Some common changes:
- Remove the large image at the top: delete the GD > Post Images block. If a second image still shows, it is your theme’s featured image, so tick Disable theme feature image output? at GeoDirectory > Settings > Design > Details.
- Show the rating and then the reviews: add GD > Post Rating where you want the score. Reviews and the review form are in the Reviews tab, or add GD > Single Reviews directly.
- Show single custom fields: add GD > Post Meta with the field key, or GD > Output Location to show every field set to that location.
- Remove the category links: delete GD > Single Taxonomies.
- Map and image thumbnails in the sidebar: add GD > Map and GD > Post Images to the sidebar your theme uses on listing pages.
Change the tabs
Go to Places > Settings > Tabs. The default tabs are Profile, Photos, Map and Reviews. Drag them to reorder, remove the ones you do not need, or add a field or shortcode as a new tab. How to Use the Tabs Builder in GeoDirectory? covers it.
If you want the description and reviews one after the other with no tabs at all, tick Show as list on GD > Single Tabs. See How can I show all Detail content on the page instead of tabs?.
Headers and footers come from your theme, so change those in the theme settings.
