The easiest way to show each user’s GeoDirectory listings on their profile is with UsersWP, our free profile plugin. It adds Listings, Reviews and Favorites tabs to the profile once you choose which post types they cover.
Add the tabs with UsersWP
- Install and activate UsersWP.
- Go to UsersWP > Settings > Addons > GeoDirectory.
- In CPT listings in profile, choose the post types to show, for example Places and Events. Do the same in CPT reviews in profile and CPT favorites in profile if you want those tabs.
- Go to UsersWP > Form Builder > Profile Tabs and make sure Listings (and Reviews or Favorites) are in the selected tabs. Add them from the list if they are not.
- Save, then open a user’s profile to check.
The same settings screen has two options that send the My Listings and My Favorites links in the GeoDirectory dashboard and login widget to the matching profile tab, so users always land on their profile.
If a tab says the user has no listings, check that the listing’s author is that user and that the listing is published.
Show a user’s listings with a shortcode
You can also place a GD > Listings block or shortcode on any page and filter it by author. post_author="current_user" shows the logged-in user’s own listings, and on a UsersWP profile page post_author="current_author" shows the listings of the profile’s owner.
