You can turn off ratings, reviews and favorites for each GeoDirectory post type in its settings. The rating stars and favorite buttons then stop showing for listings of that type.

Turn the features off

1. Go to Places > Settings > General. Repeat for each post type.
2. Show the advanced settings.
3. Tick the options you need (listed below).
4. Save the settings.

• Disable comments: turns off comments, and with them reviews, for every listing of this post type.
• Disable ratings: removes the review stars but keeps comments.
• Disable favorites: removes the favorite button.

To turn off comments on single listings only, see How to disable comments on a listing?.

Remove the blocks from your templates

For a tidy layout, also remove the related blocks from GeoDirectory’s template pages: GD > Post Rating and GD > Post Favorite from the archive item template and the Details page template, and the reviews tab under Places > Settings > Tabs. The template pages are listed in GeoDirectory > Settings > General > Pages.

If you use the same blocks in a sidebar or on other pages, remove them there too.
