In the Supreme Directory theme, the owner’s avatar and name on a listing page are part of the theme’s listing header, in a block with the CSS class sd-detail-author. The theme builds it in a template file, so there’s no widget or block to delete in the editor. Hide it with CSS instead:
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.
- Paste the CSS below and click Publish.
.sd-detail-author {
display: none !important;
}
Keep the !important. Without it the author box can still show on mobile, where the theme’s responsive styles take over.
What else this hides
The same block holds the edit button that listing owners use to edit their listing, and the “Claim Me” button when Claim Listings is active and the listing hasn’t been claimed. Hiding the block hides those too, so give owners another way to reach the edit link: add the GD > Author Actions element to the listing sidebar.
More theme tweaks are in Supreme Directory theme common customizations.
