GeoDirectory takes payments for listing packages through GetPaid, so Stripe’s test mode is switched in the GetPaid settings. Your Stripe dashboard does not control it. Every GetPaid payment gateway has a Sandbox setting, and it is ticked by default, so Stripe keeps taking test payments until you untick it.
- Go to GetPaid > Settings > Payment Gateways and open the Stripe gateway.
- Make sure your live API keys from your Stripe account are entered.
- Untick Sandbox (“Enable sandbox to test payments”).
- Save the settings.
- Clear any page cache, then make a small real payment to check, and refund it from Stripe.
Stripe webhooks are set up separately for test and live mode, so add a live webhook too, or payments may stay pending after you switch. See Stripe webhook setup and Stripe in the GetPaid docs.
