Content on a GeoDirectory listing’s details page comes from three places: the Details Page template, the tabs for that post type, and your theme. Find which one adds the text or section you want gone and remove it there.
Check the Details Page template
- Go to GeoDirectory > Settings > General > Pages and find Details Page under Template Page Settings.
- Edit the page selected there. Each block or shortcode on it, such as GD > Post Title, GD > Post Images or GD > Single Tabs, outputs one part of every details page.
- Remove or change the block that shows the content and update the page.
Visitors never see this page on its own. GeoDirectory uses it to build the details page of every listing, so one edit changes them all.
Check the tabs
The GD > Single Tabs block shows the tabs set in Places > Settings > Tabs. Each post type has its own tab list. To remove a tab or a field inside a tab, edit it there. How to Use the Tabs Builder in GeoDirectory explains the screen.
Check your theme and widgets
If the text is in neither the template nor the tabs, your theme or another plugin adds it. Look in Appearance > Widgets, or the Site Editor on a block theme, for sidebars and footer areas that show on listing pages.
Leftover text can also come from an outdated theme, so update your theme and all GeoDirectory add-ons. To confirm the source, switch to a default WordPress theme on a staging copy of the site and see whether the text disappears.
Add the favorite button to the details page
To show the favorite button on every listing, add the GD > Post Favorite block or the [gd_post_fav] shortcode to the Details Page template. See GD > Post Favorite for its options, and Design or Customize GeoDirectory Pages for more on the templates.
