A custom field such as phone or email can have a value saved and still not appear on the listing details page. Each field only shows where you tell GeoDirectory to show it, so check these settings in order.
The field is active
Go to Places > Settings > Custom Fields and open the field. Is active must be on. An inactive field is not shown anywhere.
The field has an output location
In the same field settings, Show in extra output location sets where the field appears: Details page sidebar, Listings page or Map bubble. Tick Details page sidebar to list the field with the other details on the listing page.
That location is printed by the GD > Output Location widget. If you have rebuilt your details page or sidebar, make sure that widget is still there with the location set to the details page.
Place a field exactly where you want it
The GD > Post Meta widget shows one field wherever you put it. Add it to the details template page (GeoDirectory > Settings > General > Pages > Details Page) with the field key:
[gd_post_meta key="phone"]
You can also show fields in their own tab with the tabs builder at Places > Settings > Tabs. See How to use the tabs builder in GeoDirectory.
Other things to check
- Pricing Manager: a package can exclude fields, so listings on that package won’t show them.
- Empty values: GeoDirectory doesn’t print a field that has no value, so open the listing in the editor and check the field really is filled in.
- Caching: clear your cache after changing field settings.
