Create a fieldset tab and nest the fields under it. The tab builder works like the WordPress menu screen, so a field you drag in under the fieldset, indented one step, shows inside that tab.
- Create your custom fields at Places > Settings > Custom Fields if you have not already.
- Go to Places > Settings > Tabs.
- Add a Fieldset from the list of items on the right and give it the tab name you want, for example Facilities.
- Drag each field you want in that tab under the fieldset, then drag it slightly to the right so it is indented beneath it.
- Save. On the details page the fields now appear together in that one tab.
This is handy for small fields such as checkboxes, which would look empty on a tab of their own. A ticked checkbox shows as “Yes” with its label. An unticked checkbox has no value, so it is not shown at all. If you need a cross or “No” for unticked boxes, that needs custom code or a builder that can show fields conditionally.
The rest of the tab options are in How to Use the Tabs Builder in GeoDirectory?. To show all tabs one after another down the page instead, see How can I show all Detail content on the page instead of tabs?.
