The GeoDirectory details page uses one of your theme’s page templates, and the sidebar comes from that template. If listings show no sidebar, the Details template page is set to a full width template.
- Go to GeoDirectory > Settings > General > Pages and note which page is set as Details Page. A post type can have its own, set in its settings (for example Places > Settings > General).
- Edit that page and open the Template setting in the page sidebar.
- Choose a template with a sidebar, such as your theme’s right sidebar template, and update the page.
- Reload a listing to check it.
Template names depend on your theme. If your theme sets the sidebar in the Customizer rather than per page, change it there.
Add GeoDirectory widgets to the sidebar
Add widgets to that sidebar at Appearance > Widgets. Good ones for listings:
- GD > Output Location with the location set to the details page sidebar, which shows every field you set to show there.
- GD > Author Actions, which gives the listing owner Edit and Delete links.
- GD > Map, which shows the listing on a map.
Use the widget show/hide options to keep them on the details page only.
Showing the listing without tabs
To show the listing content in one column instead of tabs, edit the Details template page and change the GD > Single Tabs block to show as a list, or use:
[gd_single_tabs show_as_list='1']
