When would we be able to convert our site into a mobile app and how is that done exactly?

    Thanks

Thank you Paolo for your support. Yes, Tiny Screen Labs offers a free plugin to build a native iOS and Android mobile app for GeoDirectory websites. You can install the plugin and try it out here.

To get the app published on the app stores requires an account from TSL. Through July 31, we are offering our service for a one time payment of $500, includes support and updates.

    Thanks Fred,

I have installed and started using the app in preview mode working towards taking care of the great promotion months end.

    Couple of initial questions.
Can you geolocate on the app? I have a north american user base and it would be imperative for the user to be able to either be geoloated or be able to choose their city.

    The ability to review ?

push notification to selected users by area?

importing more of the listing profile from GD?

    THanks in advance.

    George

    Hello George,

A few answers to your questions:

Geolocate on the app – we are releasing a Geolocation Filter option at the end of this coming week. this will allow you to set a default range to display in the listings pages and on the map. Also, the user can select a location if they are not in the desired area.

Ability to review – even after we publish your app you can then use our Previewer App to view your ‘Sandbox’ setup prior to clicking the ‘Push to App’ button on the plugin. This way you can preview changes before they go live on your app.

Push notifications by area – currently push notifications go to all users that have opted in for notifications. That said, this idea is brilliant and we will add it to our development list. I’ll send you an email early next week with expected timing and any questions we might have to ensure we meet your needs.

Importing more of the GD Profile – I’ll drop you an email on Monday (or sooner) to get a few details after I have a chance to see what we are not currently importing to the app.

    Regards,

    Fred
