In the Supreme Directory theme, the header shows your site title until you upload a logo. The big heading over the home page image is the title of whichever page is set as your home page.

Change or remove the logo

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Header > Logo.
2. Upload your own logo, or remove the current one.
3. Click Publish.

With no logo set, the header shows the Site Title from Settings > General instead, so change that if the text is wrong.

Change the home page heading

When Supreme Directory is first activated it creates a home page called “Find Local Treasures!” and sets it as the front page. You can see which page is used under Settings > Reading.

1. Go to Pages and edit the page set as your home page.
2. Change its title to the heading you want.
3. Click Update.

The smaller line under the heading is the page subtitle, see Supreme Directory front page subtitle. The background picture is the page’s featured image, see Supreme Directory featured area background.

You can also use any other page as your home page. Pick it under Settings > Reading and its title will show instead.

Hide the heading on the home page only

If you want to keep the page title but not show it, add this in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:

.home .featured-area .entry-title {
	display: none;
}

More theme tweaks are in Supreme Directory theme common customizations.
